Job summary

embecta is hiring a Production Operator in our Holdrege, NE manufacturing facility to help build insulin delivery syringes that support millions globally. This 8-hour 2nd shift role involves setting up and operating molding, assembly, packaging or warehouse lines, inspecting products, and maintaining high quality standards with rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail in reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
• Comfortable using computers and basic software like Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable, organized, and ready to learn
• An innate focus on safety, naturally integrating safety considerations into daily work and decision making

Responsibilities

• Gown up with the required PPE and safety shoes.
• Start your shift by checking in with your team and reviewing the day's goals.
• Set up and operate the relevant machines and equipment that mold, assemble and package insulin syringes.
• Regularly inspect products and perform in-process checks to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Complete inspection and quality documentation as part of a highly regulated medical devices facility.
• Move raw materials and finished products to the necessary locations in the facility.
• Monitor equipment for output and issues and troubleshoot as needed.
• Work as part of a highly engaged team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
