embecta is a global medical device company expanding its insulin delivery portfolio to better serve patients and providers. We seek a motivated mechanic for the D shift to install, maintain, and repair equipment in Holdrege, Nebraska, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with engineering and operators. Requires 1+ year mechanical experience and basic computer skills; SAP and MS Office familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• 1+ year of previous mechanical experience or equivalent.
• Computer Skills: Basic Keyboarding and navigational skills.
• Microsoft Office and SAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to meet quality specifications.
• Maintain and repair machinery as required.
• Create work orders and close PM work orders on time.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Assist in training new personnel in all jobs in the department.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent standards.
• Coordinate with operators and engineers to optimize production.
• Observe plant safety standards and lock out procedures.
• May lead activities or supervise junior associates.
