embecta Corp. is hiring for a Production Operator on the 12-hour night shift at our Holdrege, NE facility. You will support molding, assembly, packaging or warehouse operations for insulin syringes and ensure quality checks throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail in reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
• Comfortable using computers and basic software like Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable, organized, and ready to learn
• An innate focus on safety, naturally integrating safety considerations into daily work and decision making

Responsibilities

• Gown up with PPE and safety shoes and start shift with team goals.
• Set up and operate molding, assembly, packaging or warehouse equipment to produce insulin syringes.
• Conduct in-process inspections and document quality checks per regulatory standards.
• Move raw materials and finished products as needed within the facility.
• Monitor equipment performance and help troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Collaborate with the team to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Here’s what your typical day might look like:* Gown up with the required PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety shoes.* Start your shift by checking in with your team and reviewing the day’s goals.* Depending on whether you work in Molding, Assembly, Packaging or Warehouse, you will set up and operate the relevant machines and equipment that mold, assemble and package our insulin syringes.* Regularly throughout your shift, you will inspect the products and perform in-process checks to ensure products meet our high quality standards and regulatory requirements.* Completing inspection and quality documentation is the norm in a highly regulated medical devices facility and will be a critical part of your role* At times, you will move raw material supplies and finished products to the necessary locations in the facility.* You will continually monitor the equipment for output and issues and help problem-solve efficiently and quickly should something go wrong.* You will work as part of a highly engaged team to keep everything running smoothly and safely, with safety being your highest priority. # Paperwork MattersIn this role, accurate paperwork is essential.
