Job summary

Vermont Cider Company is seeking a dependable Packaging Operator to support high-speed beverage packaging across bottle, can, keg, and variety pack lines. You will help ensure safety, quality, and production goals are achieved while working a 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM).

We offer a consistent 4-day workweek, competitive pay with a $2/hr shift differential, annual bonus eligibility, and a monthly product allowance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, packaging, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment.
• Perform quality checks on products, labels, packaging, fill levels, and pallet patterns.
• Support line changeovers, startups, material staging, and line readiness activities.
• Complete production, quality, and traceability documentation accurately.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment, quality, and production issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to meet production requirements.

Schedule:

2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Pay:

$19.00–$24.00 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential
