Job summary

Century Foods International in Sparta, WI seeks a focused operator to stand on an assembly line from 2 pm to 10 pm, with overtime as needed. You will operate packaging and labeling equipment, maintain weights, and move products using a forklift.

The role requires lifting up to 55 pounds and working in a sanitary, ISO-compliant environment. Starting pay is $22.05 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential; overtime is possible on Saturdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of assigned equipment.
• Scan and dump raw product into processing equipment.
• Fill and verify weight of containers within required specifications.
• Operate labeling equipment and place band or seal on containers.
• Package and stack finished product containers for shipping, using pallets.
• Operate forklift to safely move product.
• Clean and sanitize equipment as necessary.
• Observe and report any equipment maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, SOPs, GMPs, and ISO9001 procedures.
• Assist in other duties assigned by supervisor/management.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To perform the necessary duties and operate equipment as required in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner to produce a quality product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Safe operation of assigned equipment.
2. 2. Scan and dump raw product into processing equipment.
3. 3. Fill and verify weight of containers within their required specifications of product.
4. 4. Operate labeling equipment and place band or seal on containers.
5. 5. Package and stack finished product containers for shipping, using pallets as required.
6. 6. Operate forklift to safely move product.
7. 7. Clean and sanitize equipment as necessary.
8. 8. Observe and report any possible equipment maintenance needs to your supervisor.
9. 9. Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO9001 procedures.
10. 10. Assist in all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.

Special Conditions

Working conditions may include working in and around airborne particulate, cleaning agents, confined space entries and climbing to high heights.

Normal Shift Hours - 2 pm -10 pm Monday - Friday and OT as needed Saturday

Rate of Pay - (P3) $22.05 per hour Plus $1.00 shift differential
