Job summary

Century Foods International is seeking a Production Operator to perform duties and operate equipment safely, maintaining sanitary and productive standards to ensure quality products. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 55 pounds, and working on an assembly line with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, handling raw product, controlling weights, labeling, packaging, forklift use, and routine cleaning.

• Observe and report equipment maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, GMPs, and ISO9001 procedures.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR

QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to stand for a long period of time.
• Able to work in an assembly line environment.
• Physically able to lift 55 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Able to work overtime when needed.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Able to read and understand instruction.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to maintain a forklift license.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To perform the necessary duties and operate equipment as required in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner to produce a quality product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe operation of assigned equipment.
• Scan and dump raw product into processing equipment.
• Fill and verify weight of containers within their required specifications of product.
• Operate labeling equipment and place band or seal on containers.
• Package and stack finished product containers for shipping, using pallets as required.
• Operate forklift to safely move product.
• Clean and sanitize equipment as necessary.
• Observe and report any possible equipment maintenance needs to your supervisor.
• Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO9001 procedures.
• Assist in all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.

Special Conditions

Working conditions may include working in and around airborne particulate, cleaning agents, confined space entries and climbing to high heights.

Normal Shift Hours - 10 pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday with OT as needed Friday

Rate of Pay - $22.05 per hour (P3) plus $1.25 Shift Differential
