Principal Responsibilities
  • Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, earplugs, steel-toe shoes, gloves, safety goggles, aprons as required) and follow all safety protocols.
  • Periodically locate information on the HMI screen and cross-check as necessary to verify correct products are in use for the department.
  • Help train new technicians by demonstrating processes, answering questions, and reporting trainee progress to the leader.
  • Read SD sheets and comply with requirements for handling materials; troubleshoot issues as needed and correct them using established procedures.
  • Suggest improvements in work methods by observing repetitive problems and communicating findings to leadership.
  • Assist in changeovers and turnarounds following proper procedures; monitor the process for line jams, alarms, temperature, pressure, water level, line speed, rotation speed, HMI data, fault codes, and react as instructed.
  • Troubleshoot problems by observing fault indicators and refer to HMI screens; maintain safe working conditions around moving objects and changing environments.
  • Attend training on topics such as PPE, chemical handling, lockout/tagout, fire safety, wet floors, and job safety analyses (JSA).
  • Complete controlled forms to ensure USDA and OSHA rules are followed; participate in 5S meetings and propose process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; if not, one year of manufacturing experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to follow directions and be detail-oriented; willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Forklift experience preferred for forklift positions.

  • Overnight 12-hr shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM; Alternative work schedule
  • 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (6-7 days a week)
  • 3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (6-7 days a week)
Pay
  • Dependent on manufacturing experience; range $18.40 - $21.65
  • Base pay depends on location and factors such as experience, skills, and education; total pay may include other compensation. Benefits include health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits from day one. For details, contact the Talent Acquisition Partner.
