Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift at our Rocky Mount, NC facility. The role focuses on manufacturing support, inventory integrity, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with Operations, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality teams to ensure materials flow smoothly and meet production goals while maintaining compliance with all procedures. This position is on-site and essential to continuous operations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by following HSE standards and supporting safe material handling.
• Ensure materials are properly staged, sequenced, and delivered to production lines.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve material discrepancies to maintain operations.
• Conduct quality checks and support compliance with procedures and standards.
• Manage daily material handling for efficient storage and movement of materials.
• Collaborate with Operations, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Production teams to maintain material flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce waste.
• Utilize Oracle and other warehouse systems to process material transactions accurately.
