Cummins Inc. is seeking Production Associates on 2nd shift for its Rocky Mount, NC facility to support manufacturing operations on-site. The role emphasizes safety leadership, material staging, and cross-functional collaboration to meet production goals.

The position requires minimal experience, with a PIV certification preferred; on-site work with a shift premium applies. You will work with Oracle-based warehouse processes and join a dedicated team ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Follow HSE standards and promote safe material handling and forklift operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, resolve material discrepancies, and prevent shortages.
• Conduct quality checks and support compliance with procedures and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a safe work environment by following HSE standards and supporting safe material handling and PIV/forklift operations.
• Ensure materials are properly staged, sequenced, and delivered to production lines to meet customer demand and production goals.
• Monitor inventory levels, resolve material discrepancies, and address shortages to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct quality checks and support compliance with company procedures and standards.
• Manage daily material handling activities to ensure efficient storage, movement, and utilization of materials.
• Collaborate with Operations, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Production teams to maintain continuous material flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, optimize space, reduce waste, and streamline material flow processes.
• Utilize Oracle and other warehouse systems to accurately process material transactions and maintain inventory integrity.
