Job summary

Golden West Packaging Group in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee corrugated department personnel and meet safety, productivity, and quality targets. Qualifications

• Corrugated Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or 5-years’ experience in manufacturing with supervisory experience will be considered.
• Proven track record of success managing a multi department production group.
• Mechanical aptitude and solid understanding of high volume fast paced manufacturing a must.
• Knowledge of flexo printing and die cut converting very helpful.
• Must have interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive and professional attitude reflecting the company’s commitment to safety, employee satisfaction, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Monitors and maintains department safety efforts and provides direction for safety improvements.
• Conducts routine safety audits and incident investigations.
• Directs and coordinates the activities for plant personnel in coordination with the Plant Manager’s instructions.
• Ensures quality control processes & procedures are followed to ensure product quality.
• Trains and develops department personnel and manages production costs.
