Job summary

Golden West Packaging Group seeks a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift in California. You will supervise the corrugated department, ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with Plant Manager coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Corrugated experience is advantageous in this role.
• Experience supervising multiple departments in a high-volume environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise corrugated department personnel to meet safety, productivity and quality goals.
• Provide guidance and maintain a safe work environment for shift staff.
• Conduct safety audits and incident investigations to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager on shift activities and problem resolution.
• Maintain production control records and report delivery dates and issues.
• Monitor targets, drive cost control and improve EBITA; manage internal relationships.
• Train, develop and appraise department personnel; enforce PMs and maintenance co-operation.
• Utilize production software (Job costing, PDE, Inventory) and ensure parts stock levels.
