Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at our Colusa, CA location.

You will collaborate with the 1st Shift Supervisor and Planning to support the Production Manager in coordinating the production department’s needs, including scheduling, and overseeing 2nd shift operations and personnel. You’ll foster a Food Safety and Quality Assurance mindset, ensure work aligns with schedules, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining worker safety and cost accountability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production; 5–8 years preferred.
• Experience supervising production teams and coaching.
• Experience in food manufacturing/packaging.
• Lean manufacturing principles knowledge.
• GMP/HACCP/GFSI familiarity, preferably BRC.
• OSHA safety audits and documentation knowledge.
• Ability to read SOPs and compliance docs.
• Proficient with MS Office and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production needs with 1st Shift to support Production Manager.
• Supervise 2nd shift operations and personnel.
• Foster food safety, quality assurance mindset, and safety culture.
• Adhere to schedules; support peak demands up to 6 days a week.
• Lead continuous improvements for facilities and processes.
