Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Texas seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to direct and organize the production operations, ensuring adherence to standard policies and procedures across the shift. The role oversees all production employees and collaborates with plant leadership to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in manufacturing and 2 years in a supervisory role, with strong communication and mentoring abilities to lead a team and improve operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 4 years experience in a manufacturing organization.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing organization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven mentoring and leadership ability.
• Ability to wear all required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, ear protection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employees and equipment operations on shift.
• Accurately report production and performance metrics.
• Communicate safety, quality, and maintenance issues to leadership.
• Lead and participate in Lock Out Tag Out and CPM procedures.
• Maintain safety and plant policies and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with inventory of finished goods and raw materials.
• Monitor production quality and resolve issues to maintain standards.
• Operate machines and equipment as needed and ensure safe operation.
