Job summary

Saint-Gobain Performance Polymer Solutions seeks a Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift (3:00pm–11:00pm, M-F) to oversee material flow across injection molding, machining, and annealing. You will drive efficiency, quality, and operational excellence with a zero-defect mindset, collaborating with engineering, tooling, assembly, and supply chain to improve processes.

You will lead setup time reductions, monitor downtime, implement productivity metrics, manage scrap recycling, ensure equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required).
• Master's Degree in Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years manufacturing experience supervising manufacturing processes (required).
• Excellent analytical skills, hands-on approach, proactive safety and urgency in problem solving; reading blueprints; FMEA & PFMEA (required).
• Familiarity with MRP systems like SAP/QAD (required).
• Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
• Background in WCM or similar cost-saving initiatives (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee material flow across injection molding, machining and annealing for 2nd shift.
• Drive efficiency, quality, and operational excellence with a zero-defect mindset.
• Collaborate with engineering, tooling, assembly and supply chain to implement process improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead setup time reduction initiatives and monitor downtime.
• Implement productivity measurement systems and manage scrap/purge recycling.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety; schedule training.
• Drive World Class Manufacturing cost-saving projects and accurate production reporting.
