Job summary

Saint-Gobain High Performance Solutions - Life Sciences, Composites & Mobility is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift to safely run molding presses, inspect parts, and manage packaging and labeling. You’ll coordinate with QC, maintenance, and production leads to meet daily safety, quality, and output goals.

You will operate molding equipment, document process steps, and use Factivity software to track real-time labor, production, and machine status.

Qualifications

• Safely operate molding equipment following documented procedures.
• Inspect parts and ensure quality during production.
• Maintain accurate production and material traceability records.
• Communicate issues clearly to QC and technical resources.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate problems to QC and other technical resources to ensure quality parts are made
• Follow good documentation practices including filling out forms for product traceability

In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate manufacturing equipment to meet expected production rates. These duties include operating molding presses, inspection of parts, packaging and labeling of parts, washing of parts, and tending to the oven room. You will work closely with QC inspectors while running jobs by communicating changes or issues regarding part and process quality. You will also work with closely with the Manufacturing Technician team, Maintenance team and Production Leads to ensure consistent and efficient operation of equipment to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals.
