Job summary

Viant Medical Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead frontline teams across production areas. The role includes mentoring Team Leads and Operators, driving lean initiatives, and ensuring quality, cost, and delivery goals are met.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Maintenance to address issues and improve performance while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Management or technical degree is desirable or equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve problems using structured methods and data.
• Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Principles for waste elimination.
• Ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business owner for specific departments across all shifts.
• Adjust staffing and crewing to meet takt times and minimize overtime.
• Lead and motivate product teams to deliver optimized performance.
• Identify, report, and improve manufacturing variances.
• Interface with customers regarding delivery commitments and capabilities.
• Lead daily performance reviews and drive actions based on metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Maintenance to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with Quality and Documentation practices.
• Oversee hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage time off, time clocks, and payroll-related corrections.
