Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Supervisor for the 2nd shift to direct and coordinate manufacturing processes and staff, ensuring production objectives are met at the lowest cost with quality and safety in mind.

The role drives continuous improvement, uses 5S and ERP systems for data entry, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required; strong leadership in manufacturing settings.
• 5+ years leading processes and teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; set processing variables; observe control points and equipment; monitor personnel and resources; study methods; implement cost reductions; develop reporting procedures.
• Ensure the production schedule is attained and issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Maintain quality and safety by establishing and enforcing standards
• Lead staff through visual metrics and tiered accountability meetings
• Monitor staffing levels and partner with Human Resources on talent management initiatives
• Drive process improvements in quality, delivery, inventory, and safety procedures
• Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Partner with other business segments sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
