Job summary

UFP Industries, Chicopee, MA, is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee multiple departments and shifts. You will lead a team, drive productivity, and coach staff while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include implementing CI initiatives, conducting machine audits, and ensuring adherence to LOTO and 5S procedures. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Post high school education is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• 1–3 years of experience managing people.
• Strong communication skills and clarity in instruction.
• Proficiency with Inside UFPI, Citrix, and UFPI policies.
• Knowledge of 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage production operations across multiple departments and shifts.
• Motivate and lead a group of employees for maximum productivity.
• Identify, research, and resolve problems and opportunities.
• Coach and counsel employees while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Prepare reports and maintain records; drive CI and safety initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
