Job summary

CPS, Inc. seeks a bilingual (Spanish/English) Production Supervisor to oversee a high-volume metal fabrication and roll forming department in Elk Grove Village. The role leads 75+ staff, driving safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring OSHA and company standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a proven track record in process optimization and data-driven improvements. This is a 3rd shift position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience (metal fabrication/roll forming preferred).
• Proven leadership of large teams (75+ employees).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing machinery.
• Skilled in safety compliance, process optimization, and data analysis.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop production staff to ensure efficient operations and team performance.
• Manage daily production activities, including machine setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Use Pilot/AS400 and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
