Job summary

Raycap, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech Lead in North Charleston, SC to perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance while guiding a team of technicians.

You will coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance, assist with installation of new equipment, and ensure safety, organization, and reliability on the shop floor.

This role requires leadership, strong problem-solving, and the ability to document work in the CMMS and collaborate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership for maintenance team.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience coordinating preventative maintenance activities.
• Ability to read diagrams and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction to Maintenance Technicians.
• Provide hands-on training and support in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate manpower based on production needs.
• Lead escalation for complex equipment issues and guide repairs.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and document work in CMMS.
• Coordinate installation, removal, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Communicate priorities and maintenance status to management.
