Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is hiring a 2nd shift Production Supervisor. You will lead the shift, coach employees, and drive safety, quality and productivity on the production floor.

Responsibilities include coordinating work orders, materials, and personnel, providing technical direction, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives under OSHA and environmental guidelines. A strong Lean mindset is essential.

Competenze

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience working as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and application in daily operations.

Mansioni

• Lead with a sense of urgency, engaging and motivating employees throughout the shift to meet safety, quality and production expectations.
• Maintain an active presence on the production floor, coaching proper work methods and providing timely support.
• Analyze and recommend production staff requirements to comply with process and budgetary constraints.
• Provide technical direction and training to production personnel as needed.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and environmental policies in all manufacturing processes.
• Participate in incident investigations, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure follow-up on safety concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles and problem solving methodologies.
• Organize work orders, materials and hourly personnel for production.
• Review and approve weekly timecards.
• Requisition indirect materials and production supplies in the areas of responsibility.
