Job summary

Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee administrative, directive and technical functions for coordination of work orders, materials, production personnel, processes and equipment. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and cost-effective production with hands-on leadership on the floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, operations management, or related field.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and lead a production team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production staff on the shift to meet safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor and support coaching on methods.
• Organize work orders, materials and hourly personnel; coordinate with Production Control and Planning.
• Conduct hourly performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback and development.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and incident investigations for root causes.
