Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Production Line Shift Supervisor for the 2nd shift at its Waxdale facility in Wisconsin. You will lead on the plant floor to hit safety, quality and efficiency goals, coaching teams and maintaining production schedules.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives while ensuring a safe, clean and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or a university degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience, or an advanced degree with 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift team members, ensuring safety, quality, and production objectives are met.
• Maintain weekly production schedules and address staffing or mechanical issues.
• Mentor, train, and coach team members to build capabilities.
• Manage staffing and training plans for the shift to support the business.
• Lead formal problem-solving efforts to correct issues against standards.
• Complete performance reviews for team members within the area of responsibility.
• Maintain employee records and timecard approvals; enforce policies as needed.
• Investigate and resolve employee conflicts and performance issues.
