Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Production Coordinator for our Louisville, KY facility. On the 2nd shift, you will direct daily production, supervise team activities, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. You will train staff, set up lines, and manage paperwork with handheld scanners.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and familiarity with SAP or ERP systems. This role offers overtime as needed and opportunities for advancement within our family-owned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
Experience in a lead or supervisory role or equivalent leadership experience.
Experience with SAP or comparable ERP platforms.
Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees.
Basic math and computer skills.
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Verbal and written communication.
Apply basic reasoning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Direct activities of the team and communicate daily production schedule and expectations.
Monitor process relative to product standards and efficiencies; assign duties and ensure line rotation.
Train new hires and onboard new team members.
Set up lines for specific product runs with packaging, labels, toppings and other line requirements.
Participate in production activities to support staffing and operational needs.
Complete paperwork; operate handheld scanner to record finished product.
Adhere to GMP and food safety procedures; maintain confidentiality.
