Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Foreman to lead our Imlay City, MI team. The role supervises up to 25 personnel, including temporary workers, and coordinates production, equipment repair and yard activities.

The foreman will plan production, monitor workflow, and enforce safety, inventory control and continuous improvement. A high school diploma and 3–5 years supervisory experience are required, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and directing others.
• Experience managing processes and implementing improvements.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization standards.
• Read/write/speak English fluently.
• Basic math skills.
• Understand safety protocols and safe work practices.
• Proficient with computers; audits and team coaching.
• Strong conflict resolution and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 25 personnel, including temporary workers.
• Coordinate production, equipment repair and yard activities.
• Plan, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures.
• Maintain workflow; allocate personnel and resources.
• Schedule and assign personnel; report shift results.
• Monitor equipment and identify minor downtime causes.
