Job summary

RRD is hiring a Production Expeditor for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm) to support Production Supervision by expediting orders using EPIC and Infoshare. Assist with order adjustments, verification, and inventory accuracy to improve throughput and on-time delivery.

The role requires experience with Inserter operations, basic MS Office, and strong organization and communication skills. Responsibility includes training others and assisting with production planning.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Focused attention to details; maintain accuracy with inventory and stations.
• Superior prioritizing and organizational abilities; keep a clean, organized environment.
• Knowledge of Inserter machine computer functions, including opening/closing files and feeder setup.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Adjust manufacturing orders and processes under supervision to improve workflow and inventory accuracy.
• Organize/prepare orders for delivery to subsequent processes and verify completions.
• Coordinate handling/expediting of non-mailable pieces to reduce cycle time and ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform verification processes for customer-specific jobs on computers, including file operations.
• Organize/expedite finished products from off-line machines with proper labeling and work instructions.
• Maintain department files, assist with production planning and special projects; train others as needed.
