Job summary

Wells Concrete is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair building systems and production equipment in our Hillsboro, TX facility. This role focuses on safety, reliability, and efficiency, performing preventative maintenance and responding to work orders on a second shift from 11:30am to 10:00pm.

You will support electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems, coordinate with production, keep the maintenance shop organized, and ensure all activities meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven Maintenance Technician experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot VFD and PLC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Detail-oriented with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical systems, including lighting and panels.
• Assist in ventilation, refrigeration systems and repairs.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems.
• Inspect alarm systems.
• Maintain production equipment.
• Clean and organize maintenance shop after each shift.
• Perform PMs and coordinate with production.
• Complete work orders when assigned.
