Job summary

Maker's Pride in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Baker to ensure products are properly baked and meet specifications. You will follow schedules, set up ovens, and monitor quality while keeping the work area clean and organized.

The role requires standing for long periods, manual dexterity, and ability to work overtime on 2nd and 3rd shifts (2:00PM–10:30PM or 10:00PM–6:30AM). You will report to the mixing supervisor and collaborate with the baking team.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Check production schedule for oven(s).
• Set up oven per procedures.
• Obtain correct product color sample.
• Make raw dough weight adjustments.
• Assist machine operator at start-up/changes.
• Record product check information on required forms.
• Read rulers, scales, and temperature control units.
• Perform oven adjustments to produce a quality product.
• Help maintain oven area cleanliness.
• Relieve other bakers for breaks.
• Shut down ovens when not needed for next shift.
• Follow GMPs at all times.
• Communicate instructions to shift operators.
