Job summary

ThermoSafe in Portland, IN is seeking a Production Associate I to support the packing line with a strong safety mindset and 1+ year manufacturing experience. You will work on 2nd shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and aim for precise quality while collaborating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Must have a "get it done" attitude and urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Forklift Certification and safe forklift operation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Working knowledge of product quality requirements.
• Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Able to perform repetitive duties, including stairs and standing for long periods.
• Capable of working quickly with high craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety as the #1 priority.
• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
• Maintain a 5S-focused, clean and organized work area.
• Think quickly to troubleshoot problems and situations.
• Monitor and report on quality of manufactured products.
• Move products to designated pack outs throughout the shift.
• Perform duties as designated by supervisor/manager and support quality/safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Overtime may be required.
