Job summary

Gertens-Family-of-Businesses in Delano, MN seeks a Production Team Member for the 2nd shift to support processing, mixing, and bagging of bird seed in a modern, climate-controlled facility. You will handle materials, inventory, and routine facility maintenance, with training provided to operate forklift and pallet equipment.

The role requires lifting 50-pound bags and working Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to be trained.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug test prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks including processing, mixing, and bagging bird seed.
• Handle materials, inventory, and assist with cleaning and maintenance.
• Lift, carry, and stack 50-pound bags and pails as required.
• Read and follow production plans and operate packaging equipment.
• Move pallets with an electric pallet jack and shrink-wrap as needed.
