Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Processing Operator - 2nd shift to operate tortilla chip production lines, set up extruders and mixers, and ensure smooth production. You will monitor equipment and maintain logs while adhering to safety and food quality standards.

You will work with the QA team, train others, and operate forklifts as needed in a fast-paced facility with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in production logs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple processing equipment and take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and high-reach equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extruders, sheeters, mixers, and other processing equipment used to produce tortilla chips.
• Keep production running by monitoring equipment and making adjustments as needed.
• Partner with QA to complete quality checks and ensure products meet standards.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials for production.
