Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Processing Operator for the 3rd shift to join our manufacturing facility. You will operate extrusion and mixing equipment, monitor production, and participate in quality checks with the QA team to ensure high-quality products.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, working nights Monday to Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM with some Saturdays. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written procedures, safety requirements, and food quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete production records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple pieces of processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extruders, sheeters, mixers, and other processing equipment used to produce tortilla chips.
• Monitor equipment and make adjustments to keep production running smoothly.
• Partner with QA to complete quality checks and ensure products meet standards.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials for production.
• Complete production logs and record component usage.
• Clean and sanitize equipment according to procedures and sanitation schedules.
