Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Process Technician (2nd Shift) for automotive manufacturing at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will support Engineering by improving current manufacturing processes to meet compliance and production standards. The role requires collaboration with Engineers, technicians, and production staff to optimize layout, tooling, and production methods, while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years production experience or equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for a full shift

Responsibilities

• Support Engineers in improving processes and tooling
• Develop and update work instructions and routings
• Assist with setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and monitor process performance
• Prepare reports on production metrics and efficiency
