Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Electronics Assembler (2nd Shift) for its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems, and test functionality using standard equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended shifts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Minimum 2 years assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to work instructions and samples.
• Operate hand and power tools and testing equipment; perform quality checks.
• Tend equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist in training Garmin associates on task requirements and processes.
• Identify nonconforming items and communicate issues to management.
