Job description

Join our team as a Multi-Color Press Print Operator on the 2nd shift, where your technical skills in operating and manually setting up advanced printing presses will be valued and essential.

As a Multi-Color Press Print Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and manual setup/changeovers of multi-color sheet-fed or high-speed continuous/web presses. Your role is critical in ensuring quality and precision in printing, including mixing PMS inks, die registration, and maintaining accurate multi-color register to meet or exceed customer expectations.

• SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift – 3:00pm to 11:00pm
• PAY RATE: $23.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-color sheet-fed or continuous/web presses running mostly custom or base forms work or high-speed single-color continuous/web presses under general direction from the team manager.
• Perform complete and effective press setups including identifying and loading correct stock, setting paper path and stretch, bending and mounting plates, mixing PMS ink, die registration, and adjusting ink and water balance.
• Ensure accurate multi-color register and set up attribute functions such as perforations, numbering, and file holes.
• Understand and follow all order instructions to meet job requirements for ink density, color matching, size, construction, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and make necessary adjustments including blanket changes, washing up units, cleaning water system, and roller settings.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year printing experience.
