Job summary

Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Pressweld Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership to our Pressweld team. You will coordinate daily production priorities, set up and troubleshoot equipment, and mentor staff to meet safety and quality goals.

The role requires strong manufacturing experience, ability to read blueprints, and effective communication with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience; Pressweld or related experience preferred.
• Previous team lead or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Pressweld employees throughout second shift.
• Coordinate daily production priorities and assign work to team members.
• Work handson with the team to keep production moving efficiently.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Pressweld equipment and processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Monitor quality and ensure finished products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Train and mentor employees on processes, equipment, quality, and safe work practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment, material, and production issues.
• Communicate production updates, concerns, and shift information to management.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production issues.
