Winholt Equipment Corp in Allentown, PA is seeking a Production Lead on 2nd shift to supervise daily shop floor operations, coordinate metal forming, welding, assembly, and finishing, and report to the Production Department Supervisor.

The role emphasizes scheduling communication, safety, quality, training, and adapting plans to meet changing customer requirements, with a focus on efficiency and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a lead or supervisory position in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum and steel welding, fabrication and finishing.
• Understanding of work orders and inventory management.
• ERP transactions experience a plus (Epicor preferred).

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/weekly production scheduling between management and the shop floor.
• Oversee daily shop floor operations and ensure safety and organization.
• Ensure PPE usage and safe working practices.
• Read and interpret engineering diagrams and assembly drawings for crews.
• Provide operational training and adapt schedules to changing customer needs.
• Verify materials against work orders to ensure order fulfillment.
• Monitor product quality to meet internal and external requirements.
