Job summary

Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a dependable presswelder for our 2nd shift in the pressweld department. This hands-on manufacturing role involves operating press-welding equipment and producing high-quality copper components.

Qualifications

2+ years of manufacturing, welding, fabrication, or machine operation experience (preferred).
Ability to read basic blueprints and manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate presswelding equipment.
Read and follow job travelers, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Position and align copper materials and components for welding.
Adjust machine settings to meet production requirements.
Monitor weld quality and inspect completed parts.
Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
Perform grinding, finishing, shearing, and other secondary operations as needed.
Complete required production and quality documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
