Weller Metalworks is seeking a skilled press brake operator for 2nd shift on our fast-paced manufacturing floor. You will set up and run press brake equipment, interpret blueprints, and form metal parts to exact specifications, ensuring first-article and in-process inspections meet rigid quality standards.

Candidates should have press brake experience, strong measurement skills, and a reliable, independent work style. This role requires standing all shift and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Press brake experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation required.
• Strong measurement skills and basic math (fractions/decimals).
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run press brake equipment, selecting/adjusting tooling and dies for each job.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to achieve exact customer specifications.
• Form, process, and verify metal components to precise measurements.
• Use tape measures, calipers, and gauges with accuracy.
• Complete first-article and in-process inspections, documenting results.
• Maintain a zero-defect mindset and uphold quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Flag issues or nonconformances to supervisors for quick resolution.
