Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship program and 1–2 years of related experience.
• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and welding knowledge required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently, prioritize, and multitask.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Willingness to be trained to operate forklifts, aerial platforms, and cranes.
• Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements.
• Reading and interpreting general business documents and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Perform maintenance to keep production floor running smoothly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Receive and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Follow welding procedures and tasks.
• Abide by Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and the Martinrea Employee Handbook.
• Learn and follow customer-specific requirements.
• Read and interpret technical documents as needed.
