Metal Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:00pm) in Michigan. You will design, install, program and repair advanced electrical circuitry and perform mechanical maintenance tasks in a foundry environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with relay logic, PLCs, and electrical schematics, plus safe operation of forklifts and lifts. Candidates with 5+ years in electrical maintenance in manufacturing will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, install, program, build & rebuild advanced electronic circuitry.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair foundry related electrical and electronic systems (relay logic, PLC, Computer, Microprocessor).
• Perform hydraulic maintenance (pumps, valves, controls and cylinders).
• Perform plumbing maintenance (piping, fitting and assembly).
• Perform pneumatic maintenance (cylinders, valves and controls).
• Perform metal fabricating (cutting, fitting, bolting, welding and assembly).
• Perform welding (oxygen, acetylene, arc welding, brazing, hard surfacing and silver soldering).
• Operate a forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lift, and articulating boom lift.
• Read, comprehend, and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, blueprint reading, and manuals.
