Job summary

Cleveland Steel Container is seeking a 2nd shift Machine Operator / Press Operator for Auto Press at the Streetsboro, OH facility. Responsibilities include setting up and operating the press, performing routine maintenance, ensuring safety, and coordinating with team members.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of machine operation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Manufacturing Machine.
• Complete verification procedures and preventive maintenance monthly.
• Maintain housekeeping around the machine and parts.
• Maintain safety requirements during setup, operation and maintenance.
• Maintain tools for setup and operation of the machine.
• Be trained in material handling and forklift duties.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist Manufacturing Manager with other duties as required.
