Job summary

Cleveland Steel Container, Streetsboro facility, is seeking a 2nd shift Machine Operator / Press Operator for auto press lines, HAAR, Minster or Aida equipment. Start-up, setup, and operation of the manufacturing press with safety and quality in mind.

The role requires at least 1 year of machine operation experience, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work well in a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Competitive benefits and ESOP offered.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the manufacturing machine.
• Complete verification procedures and preventive maintenance (daily/weekly/monthly).

• Adhere to all safety requirements during setup, operation and maintenance.
• Maintain tools necessary for setup and operation.
• Be trained in material handling and forklift duties.
• Collaborate with plant personnel for efficient operation.
• Assist Manufacturing Manager with other duties as needed.

WORK HOURS:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Properly set up and operate the Manufacturing Machine.
• Complete the various verification procedures and all preventative maintenance requirements-daily, weekly, and monthly for the machine.
• Ensure all proper housekeeping is completed for all parts and surrounding areaof the machine.
• Ensure all safety requirements are maintained while setting up, running andmaintaining this piece of equipment.
