Job summary

Cleveland Steel Container is seeking a 1st shift Machine Operator for the Auto Press at our Streetsboro, OH facility. Responsibilities include setting up and operating the manufacturing machine, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

We value teamwork and strong communication; a minimum of 1 year of machine operation experience and a High School Diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing machine operation experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to work well as a team.
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Manufacturing Machine.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly verification procedures and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping around the machine.
• Follow safety requirements when operating and maintaining equipment.
• Maintain tools for setup and maintenance.
• Coordinate with plant personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist Manufacturing Manager with additional duties as required.
