Alro Steel in Hammond, Indiana is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role requires safely operating press brakes and other processing equipment to fill and prepare customer orders for shipment, with potential afternoon or evening hours depending on shift assignment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in metal service center operations, the ability to read blueprints, and a proven record of excellent attendance and safe

Qualifications

• Previous experience in operations for a metal service center preferred.
• Previous experience in operating a press brake preferred.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• Excellent attendance.
• Safe work habits.
• Computer and keyboard skill development.
• A record of accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• filling and preparing customer orders for shipment;
• operating heavy equipment including press brakes, cranes, forklifts, and other processing machinery;
