Job summary

APX Company in Indiana is seeking a 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator to safely set up, operate, and maintain hydraulic press brake equipment for the fabrication of metal components. You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, and ensure quality through inspection and measurement.

The role requires basic math skills, blueprint literacy, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and interpret production specifications.
• Experience with hydraulic press brakes and sheet metal.
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot hydraulic press brake equipment.
• Read blueprints and work orders to meet specifications.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
• Record production data including counts and downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist production as needed.
