Alro Steel Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator to join our Hammond, IN team. The role involves operating press brakes and related equipment, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring accurate, on-time processing in a fast-paced metal service environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate reliable work history with prior manufacturing or metal processing experience.
• Experience operating press brakes preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
• Strong computer/keyboard skills and order accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Filling and preparing customer orders for shipment.
• Operating heavy equipment including press brakes, cranes, forklifts, and other processing machinery.
• Potentially working afternoon or evening hours as needed, based upon shift assignment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will beresponsible for:

• filling and preparing customer orders for shipment;
• operatingheavy equipment includingpress brakes, cranes, forklifts, and other processing machinery;
• potentially working afternoon or evening hours as needed, based upon shift assignment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a previous work history that includes:

• previous experience in operations for a metal service center preferred;
• previous experience in operating a press brake preferred;
• ability to read blue prints;
• excellent attendance;
• safe work habits;
• computer and keyboard skill development;
• a record of accurate order fulfillment.
