Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Machine Operator - Press Brake on the 2nd shift in the Asheville area. The role involves technical fabrication operations on raw materials using metal processing machinery.

The hourly rate is $21.00 per hour, with guidance based on skills and experience. Responsibilities include setup for PLC/Analog/manual machines, operating equipment, interpreting drawings, and maintaining TPM/5S+ standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office and basic internet use.
• No immigration sponsorship; applicants within a 50-mile radius considered; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations in the Fabrication Department.
• Receive and understand work assignments from the Supervisor; perform initial set-up for PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts and interpret work orders, Kanban cards, and drawings.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions; maintain tools and equipment for continuous operation.
• Inspect final components against specifications and perform operator maintenance on equipment.
• Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders; provide on-the-job training for new Operators.
• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily; complete any other assigned tasks.
