Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Wire Machine Operator for the 2nd shift at Arden, NC. The position offers an hourly rate of $21, with salaries reflecting skills and experience.

The operator will perform fabrication tasks on raw materials, set up PLC/Analog/manual machines, interpret orders and drawings, maintain tools, and inspect parts to meet specifications. Safety, TPM, and 5S+ responsibilities are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Basic Computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word), Internet, etc.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Arden, NC.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations.
• Receive work assignments from Supervisor.
• Set up operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts.
• Interpret work orders, Kanban cards, and drawings.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation.
• Inspect final component against work specifications.
• Perform operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment.
• Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators.
• Perform TPM and 5S+ daily.
• Complete any other assigned tasks from management or leads.
