Employ-Temps is actively seeking Mechanical Assembly II for a full-time role in Cortland, OH. You will assemble and disassemble steel mill chocks, reading blueprints and using precision tools to ensure proper fits and finishes.

The position requires 2–3 years of related experience, crane and forklift certification, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks daily. This role offers a steady Monday–Friday shift with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years related experience.
• Crane and forklift certification required.
• Familiar with hand tools, power tools, micrometers, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble/assemble steel mill chocks and support Bay 3 machine assembly operations.
• Read blueprints and schematics; use micrometers and precision tools.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment, cranes, and forklifts; assist with material movement.
• Perform cleaning, welding, torching, painting as needed.
• Support workflow in other areas as assigned by management.
• Ensure safety and quality in a physically demanding role.
